Manage your member directory and collect payments — whether tied to specific members or open to anyone.
The Payments module has two sides:
Dues, levies, and any other payments linked to your member list. Track who has paid, who owes, and for which period — all against named member profiles. Members can pay via a public pay page (no login needed) or through the member portal (Pro plan).
Payment links for offerings, fundraisers, welfare funds, building projects, or any collection where the payer doesn't need to be a registered member. Create a link or QR code, share it, and anyone can pay via MoMo or card — no account required.
Both types are processed securely — every transaction is verified, receipted by SMS, and recorded automatically.
The member code is the unique identifier for each member. It's what they use on the public pay page and (if enabled) the member login portal. Keep it consistent — sequential numbers, initials + number, or whatever format your organisation already uses.
Starter organisations can have up to 100 members; Pro organisations up to 500. Contact support if you need a higher limit.
Configure which fields appear on the member form at Settings → Member Fields. Enable or disable optional fields (date of birth, gender, address, etc.) and add custom fields specific to your organisation.
Organise members into a two-level hierarchy — for example Region → District, or Zone → Branch. Enable groups at Settings → Group Structure and give each level a label. Once enabled, you can filter the member list, payments, and reports by group, and restrict admin users to only see their assigned group's data.
Payment types are the categories of what you collect — Annual Dues, Development Levy, Welfare Contribution, General Payment, and so on. Set them up at Payments → Types.
Each payment type is either free-form or period-based. You can have as many payment types as you need, of either kind.
Free-form types have no predefined periods or fixed amounts. Members pay whatever is requested, whenever you need to collect. This is the most common type — most organisations use free-form for their general levies, welfare contributions, and one-off collections where the amount may vary or is announced at the time of collection.
When you need to collect against a free-form type, members see it listed on their pay page and enter the amount (or you set a fixed amount at the type level).
Period-based types are for recurring billing where payments need to be tracked per period — annual dues, quarterly subscriptions, semester levies. Each period has a start date, end date, and amount. When a member pays, the system matches the payment to the specific period(s) they're settling.
To set up a period-based type:
Outstanding periods are shown per member on their pay page, so they can see exactly what they owe and for which period.
Members have three routes to make a payment — all accept MoMo, card, or USSD and are recorded automatically.
Every organisation gets a public payment page at /[username]/payments/. Anyone with a member code can visit this page, look up their account, and pay — no account or password needed.
The flow:
/[username]/payments/receipt/Share this link directly, post it in group chats, or print the QR code (available from Payments → Types). It works on any device without any app or account.
When the Member Login Portal is enabled (under Settings → Member Login Portal), members get their own dashboard at /[username]/members/. They log in with their member code and a password.
From their dashboard, members can:
Members log in with their member code. Set a default password in Settings — that becomes their initial password and they can change it after first login.
Inside the member portal, members can top up their wallet balance in one transaction, then use that balance to make individual payments one by one — without re-entering their card or MoMo details each time.
This is useful when a member owes multiple periods: they top up once for the total and apply it period by period. The wallet balance is shown on the member dashboard and deducted instantly on each payment, with an SMS confirmation each time.
Go to Payments → All Payments to see every transaction across all members. Filter by:
Click any payment to see the full detail — amount, type, period, date, payment reference, and the member's info.
Click any member in the member list to see their detail page: contact info, total amount paid, payment count, outstanding periods, and a full transaction history across all payment types and events.
Go to Payments → Reports to generate a summary report for any date range. Filter by group, payment type, or individual member. The report shows totals per payment type and a grand total. Export to CSV, Excel, or PDF for reconciliation or sharing.
If your organisation uses groups and an admin user has limited group access, they only see data for their assigned groups — the report respects this restriction.
Members on the portal can also generate their own personal report from My Payments → Generate Report and export it for their records.
Open payment links let you collect money from anyone — no member account needed. Use them for:
Each open link has its own URL and QR code. The payer enters their name and phone number, pays via MoMo or card, and receives an SMS receipt. You see every contribution with the payer's name, phone, amount, and timestamp in your dashboard.
Each link has a public URL at /[username]/collect/[slug]/. Copy the link and share it via WhatsApp, email, or social media. Print or display the QR code at meetings, church services, or events so people can scan and pay on the spot.
Go to Payments → Transactions and click the Open Links tab to see all contributions — payer name, phone, amount, date, and payment reference. Filter by date range or payment type to narrow down to a specific link. You can also see the running total per link from Payments → Types.
Contributions from open payment links are included in your overall balance and paid out along with member payments on your normal payout schedule.
